Odd, you have the exact same settings as me as these affect transparency.

It has always been like this, and I have been trying so hard to find a solution, because it is very annoying.

I can understand it's annoying, if it's unwanted.

For now I've run out of ideas, maybe someone else will jump in that can help.

Only other thing I can think of is reinstalling your Graphics driver.

I tried updating my driver and the problem is still here, The issue does not appear if a program runs fullscreen, like a game.

Hey guys! So I solved this issue myself after hours and hours of digging:

ASUS has TWO driver download sites,

This is the one it takes you to if you search for it:
The one broken VGA not up-to-date intel HD Graphics driver (Lag and transparency):

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Driver & Tools - X551MA

This is the one you have to dig for:
Several working and up-to-date drivers (Heavenly FPS and no transparency):

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download VGA

So that's just really user unfriendly, but there you have it.
This fixed the transparency problem, and on top of that dwm is no longer struggling and my pc is 100% faster than it used to be.

Update your drivers if you suffer from these problems!

Thanks for posting what you found. So it was the driver, huh?

Yep. Everything works so smooth and there is no annoying transparency. It's just stupid that Asus has two driver download pages because it really just causes problems. So remember put support.asus.com instead of asus.com. Otherwise it will show you one driver and that is the outdated buggy one.
