I have an Acer Predator G3260 desktop computer. Windows 8.1 My auto recover partition is corrupt so I ordered the system recovery disks from Acer. After installing 2 out of 3 disks, there was a power outage. Now my computer is in an endless auto repair loop. Also, I can't get the computer to boot to a cd or usb. I've tried going into the bios and changing the cd-rom to first priority. That did not work. Still an endless loop. Also disabled secure boot and changed launch CSM to always. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

Wow, power outage during an install is about as bad as it gets! Did you try setting BIOS to defaults? How about a F12 or F8 boot menu?

Yes....I've done all of that. Is there a way to reformat my machine and start all over?

This is a tough one because it is stuck in the install loop and you can't get the CD/DVD drive to work. Sometimes if you push the power button in succession several times it will get you out of the loop. Push to start, hold it again to shutdown, push to start, hold again........

No recovery USB or drive created when you first got it?

Did you remove the CMOS battery on the motherboard, along with unplugging the desktop from power? It is possible that when the power was lost, the bios could have been screwed up by the power event.
