I would like to Shutdown Win 8.1 when idle for 10 minutes. :think:

I would like Win 8.1 t to do it automatically without my interaction.

Seeking: Win 8.1 auto shutdown after some idle time.

Are you sure you want that? If you watch a fifteen minute video, the system might shutdown at 2/3.
Usually 'idle' is based on last keystroke or mouse button or user interaction.
You can't really use CPU utilization because that varies even when 'idle'.
This is a complex issue.

The procedure does NOT work for me. :cry:

Please verify this procedure with 1 minutes idle time.

Instead of the utility, you can also use the Power Settings and either use one of the three profiles, or make up your own. I set when on battery, to shut down or sleep after 10 min's, shut screen off when lid is closed.

Most laptops and desktops now come with a mfg utility that replaces the built in Windows Power profile. It just adds another profile that the utility uses.
