Passwords not synced on new Surface 3.

Got my Surface 3 today and logged in using my Microsoft Account. I have my other Windows 8.1 systems set up to sync passwords, however none of my passwords from Credential Manager have been added to my new Surface 3. Everything else from my desktop - Internet favorites, lockscreen, wallpaper, were immediately set on the Surface, but I can't get my Passwords to sync. The only credential saved on my Surface 3 now is the one I entered and saved using the tablet.

Is there a trick I need to do to sync the passwords? Its been running for quite a while now and I've installed the available updates for it. I never had this problem when I set up 8.1 on my desktop back when I had a Surface 2.

It depends on what web browser you use on the Desktop. One Drive only saves them for Roaming Profile, what is attached to the profile for system & network credentials. If you use Firefox, you can actually sync the passwords to it, then go to the Surface and sync the info back to IE.

Personally I would use Firefox or Chrome over IE. Safer web browsing.
