Any Way to Free Up Space from Updates?

I got Windows Firewall set to download updates automatically. I'm sure the downloads take up a lot of space on my drive. Is there a way to free up this space?

To clean up space used by Windows update go to:
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools

Right click on "Disk Cleanup" and run as Administrator
    Hit OK
check the "Windows Update Cleanup" checkbox and click delete.
