Hello,
I have a user running Windows 8 and there's been a problem with Excel/File Explorer. Occasionally the user simply cannot exit them(using "X" button or right click-> close program), save the files that were being worked on, or even press anything.
EDIT: all other programs are functional during this time.
When the user clicks anywhere on the File Explorer/Excel it give a "Ding!" sound. It isn't frozen in the traditional sense because there's no spinning wheel, it isn't grayed out, and when I end it with task manager it just exits and doesn't tell me there was an error.
This seems to happen randomly, about 2-3 times a week. Has anyone seen this before? Any solutions or explanations?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions!
