Attempted to change the Location of my "Desktop" folder...

I just purchased my MSI gaming laptop and installed a 128GB SSD to house my OS and a few select games and use my 1TB HD to house everything else. I was trying to be slick and change the location of all my favorite folders to the "Z" drive. Basically, I was just trying to be lazy so I wouldn't have to move everything over manually. Well, I found out later that what I was trying to do wasn't possible because the favorite folders were "assigned" to my account/username. During the attempt I ended up merging my Desktop folder with my "Z" drive. Can this be undone? I do not have a restore point to go back to, a friend already suggested that. Further information, If I right-click on the "Desktop" folder now "Z" folder click Properties, it is as if I right-clicked on the "Z" drive itself.

Hello Wheeler, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Using OPTION TWO in the tutorial below should be able to restore your Desktop folder's default location.
