Two entries for same win 8.1 install in BCD

My system dual boots with win 8.1 and tech preview. After latest install of tech preview i now have a choice of three at startup, 2 win 8.1 and tech preview, however there is only one copy of 8.1 on the computer and both entries in BCD point to it. How can I delete the extra entry? Have looked through MSCONFIG (see below) and that shows three entries, BCDedit (see below) through command prompt shows only 2 and easy BCD only has two entries. Help please, going mad as I can't figure out why.

With EasyBCD you can remove the entry.

Tried both bootice and easybcd but both of these only show one entry for each OS. This is really weird!

Just tried booting into tech preview, opened msconfig and tried to delete one entry fow windows 8.1 and it automatically deletes both entries. Shows up in tech preview exactly the same as windows 8.1 above. Not sure what to try next.
