Help required

my computer shut down and and i had to search for my files. Problem is now i cant load a flight sim or photos and not sure what i need. I did not delete anything but as I am not a tech and need help please.

I had a problem with win 8 where it says there was an error and needed to be resolved. I did not delete files and now cant load a game or photos and presume an app is missing but which one?
This is driving me mad as I am not sure what to look for. I am at my wits end and really need help please

Can you be more specific. This is very vague and impossible to diagnose.

Thanks for reply. I try to load game which previously worked but cant find it on desktop so i tried reloading game and it does nothing. Photos are the same. I think I am missing app as when i had prob I had to reload everything.

So the shortcut for the game disappeared from the desktop. Right? Can you still find the game in C:\Program files (x86) ?

Are your photos still in the Pictures file ?

Thanks for the reply. I cant see shortcut. When i go to load photos I see them but cant import then I get booted out. When I tried loading pc game it says its removing files and the screen is black

So we have 3 situations:

1. Your photos are still in the Pictures file. Just double click on any photo to view it.

2. Loading the photos - I assume from the camera. Are they on a SD card. If yes, stick the card into the PC and copy them.

3. The problem with the game is mysterious. Is the game still in the program files (x86). That is when you double click on C: in My PC.

I am a novice at this. Would love to go and pay somebody but no funds. Not sure what you mean regardiing double clicking on my computer
