    Cannot install or copy WinHlp32.exe

I downloaded the WinHlp32 mui for x64 from Microsoft. Running I get a signing error. If I try to just copy over a Win32Hlp.exe onto the one in the Windows folder or even rename the one in the Windows folder, I get an error I need Installer permissions I tried adding TakeOwnership with Pause to context menu. It will not show in context menu when I right click on WinHlp32.exe in the Windows folder. It will show on a file in my C:\download folder.

I enabled the built in Admin account and signed into it with and without it having a password and tried all of the above. Same thing. So now all I have is a copy of WinHlp32.exe on the desktop so I can drag .hlp files onto it to look at the help. But that's kind of klunky isn't it?

I can't believe I'm still dealing with this since Vista.

I just saw your thread and used UltraSearch to find where it belongs
    Code:
    C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft-windows-winhstb_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_bda5d2e02500670f
I then double clicked it and it said it's not for my version of windows. I hope this information can help you narrow the problem down a little.
