Is need to to initiate Hibernation in Windows Control Panel

In windows 8, the Hibernation can not show on Power option menu. So if we want to click the hibernation option to need go into the Control Panel, then check the show Hibernation. Maybe the operation is need to do? Why the hibernation option does not show on the Power option menu directly?

You might see if disabling and enabling hibernate again may toggle it to work again.

If the aforementioned doesn't work, try the following:

1. Open Control Panel
2. Select Power Options
3. Select 'Choose what the Power Button does' on the left
4. Select ' Change settings that are currently unavailable'
5. Make sure Hibernate is selected.

You shouldn't need a restart.

Hibernate should normally be there in the Power menu like below if enabled and selected as Calico posted above. Disabling and enabling hibernate may reset and fix this for you.
