Then it is not booting from the USB, Asus computers are finicky trying to set the boot order.

    1. Enter the BIOS setup menu by pressing and holding F2 key when powering on.
    2. Switch to “Boot” and set “Launch CSM” to Enabled.
    3. Switch to “Security” and set Secure Boot Control” to Disabled.
    4. Press F10 to save and exit.
    5. Press and hold ESC key to launch boot menu when the Unit restarts.

That worked, what should I do here? Here, as in, after booting the CD.

Once you have booted to it, click Start BootCD or use the arrow keys to highlight it and press return. This will bring up the Tools and navigate to the hard disk tools and run HDTune.

And below there's a bunch of other Boot HDD Partitions but they don't have names or descriptions

Sorry, been a long time since I used it. Click or highlight more until you see HDTune

I would still like to know the model of your computer, Asus xxxxxx

    ASUS N56VZ.
Here's the other screens, not sure which to pick, I did a full instalation though, will try to do a partial one with just HDTune then if possible.

I know it is there but as I said it's been a long time since I used it. Perhaps it would help to know the manufacturer of your hard drive, your Asus specs do not indicate which one and you may have to open the computer to see who it is.

I would rather not open it, it's still in warranty and they do cover HDD failures but I'd like to avoid going to them unless it's really necessary.
I ended up using the 'Mini Windows XP' option which allows me to open HD Tune and the other programs, ruining an error test in HD Tune now.

That will do it, my memory is not what it used to be. Let me know the results.

Not sure if this what you were looking for but HD Tune says something about 'ST9500325AS', I imagine that might be the HD's serial number, not sure if relevant but pointing it out either way.
As for results, the error scan only says 0.3% of the blocks are damaged, where to go from here?
