What are the advantages/disadvantages using one over the other.

Thanks. So it seems MUI ie is supposedly easier on resources, simpler, etc. correct?

Easier on resources? That is probably true. I have used the desktop IE for so many years and consequently I know it so well it is still my primary method. The metro version may seem easier but I think it has less functionality for the experienced user. At this point, the desktop interface is still my main screen. I like some of the Metro Apps but I boot to desktop and have a couple of Metro Apps pinned to my Task Bar. I also have Firefox installed and use it occasionally but Desktop IE is still my primary browser.
