Every time I right click in windows explorer I get the blue circle and the file explorer doesnt respond and must be restarted. Also, right clicking on files such as a Word document will cause it to hang, but right clicking on something like Google Chrome doesnt have the same effect. I have downloaded ShellExView and disabled all Context Menu hanlders but to no avail. I even tried disabling all non-windows things in Shell but still no dice. Can anyone please help me? thank you

Is this a preinstalled copy of windows or a custom installation from a retail or OEM disk?

If preinstalled or custom installed, do the SFC scan now in command prompt.

If a preinstalled system, did this problem start right out of the box? If so it may be a bad windows installation, and you may have to do a system recovery.

Also make sure your display drivers are up to date.

Retail versions of Windows, you would have to use a Windows install disk to reload Windows.
