Not sure where to post this.

I have found out that Chinese Traditional language is not available when I tried to install it.
Chinese Simplified is available.
Trouble is, I don't read Chinese Simplified too well.
Is there another way to install Chinese Traditional language ?

Unfortunately, not all of the language packs are available yet and it seems Traditional Chinese is one of those.

Windows 8 Language.... again.

I hope it is alright for me to start a new thread. The original thread has been marked Answered and I am not sure if anyone will notice a new post there.

OK, When I downloaded and installed Chinese language pack, I had to settle for Chinese Simplified because Chinese Traditional option came back and told me it was not available.

I ran into this website.....Windows 8 Language Packs Download Links Of All Languages
The long list of language pack consists of Chinese (HK) .... HK = Hong Kong where Chinese Traditional language is used.

I am not sure if it is legal to install, in light of Microsoft Win 8 language packs say it is not available.
Yes, the article also warn of possible issue downloading its language pack..... I read that.

"Although these may or may not work, you should not install these language packs on your primary Windows 8 system because some people have reported that their systems got unstable while installing these Windows 8 language packs."

So, it's up to you to decide if you want to take a chance or not. Other than that, no other worries about legal this or that.

Going by that info, you'd probably be better off making a clean install from the .iso the show to download instead of just installing the add-on pack now.

Thank you.
Win 8 is installed in my VMware. Host OS is Win 7.
So, I'll click Start A New Virtual Machine and install another Win 8 from the iso I have in my Download folder, then install the language pack ?

Well, I deleted my last sentence you quoted because there isn't traditional Chinese .iso. So you'll have to install the pack if you want to try.

Yes, what you wrote sounds like a good plan though.
