Wireless adapter turns off randomly

I am using a Asus Netbook and at any point when I am online, I will get a message saying "no internet access". It appears the wireless adapter shuts off. If I turn off wifi and turn it back on, it will come back fine.

I went to adapter settings-properties-advanced, "minimum power consumption" I set to "Disabled". Thinking it might be a power/sleep/standby issue, but it did not seem to make a difference.

Try re-installing the internet driver or installing a more updated one.
