The other day I noticed that one folder (and only that one folder) that I use allot has been beyond slow. It is a folder that stores mods for a game I play. I often delete bad mods or add new ones to test out. the issue I am having is when I go to delete a file.. it sits there for at least 10 seconds before the file shows as gone.. now if I "refresh" the folder it acts normal and the file deletes as it should. It is weird as no other folder acts this "slow" and days before it acted normal with zero issues. Just out of the blue this folder acts like it has to think long and hard about what I want it to do before It does it. It sort of acts like a storage HD that has not been accessed and takes a few seconds to come to "life" Again.. no other folders that I can find are acting like this. I have tried deleting the older and re creating it with no luck. I would just create a new folder for the mods named "mods1" or something but I would rather just see if anyone has any thoughts on why a folder would act slow all of a sudden.
