    Help changing file locations

    First off, im new to windows, so i dont really know much of how to work this all that well. anyway, i am running 2 hard drives and was attempting to point all my folders (Music, downloads...) from my SSD to the HDD. Now unfortunately, my music folder acts as if it is the HDD and I am getting this message. how do i revert my music folder to its original state and unteather it from the HDD?Click image for larger version

    Create a Music folder on your HDD "D" and then point to that folder

    c\users\name\music to D\music

    it appears you are trying to move user and not music folder

    I dont think it is a user issue, but more of a lost identity. the "music file" is simply mirroring the D: drive. what i would like to do is restore it back to acting as a file under the OS

    I played with it.

    I set security on Music folder to give me complete control.
    Program files too.

    I created 2 New folders on my usb drive.

    I selected "Copy to" D:\ New folders 1 & 2. {Separately}

    Everything I selected was copied to the usb.{Several GBs}
    {I don't guess a usb drive is any different fron a SSD.}

    I'm done.
    Hope this helps.
