I think the answer is no,,,,try contacting Acer for recovery media ,they will have the answers you need to hear .you will likely have to pay a small amount to get them to send you something

What is on drive H ??
You are looking for either install.wim or install.swm on H

Otherwise your recovery option is limited to windows 8.1 setup media or getting Acer recovery media..

What is the problem with your PC ?
And what are you hoping to do?

You asked to make recovery and do not have recovery images..

If you are looking to clean install windows - you have the ISO..

So not sure what you are asking or wanting to do..

If your computer is missing files, making an image with Macrium would be pointless.

Sounds like you need to start over by using the ISO.

Once things are running smoothly then use Macrium to image your system.

Good luck. :)

sounds like computer was win7 or 8 and then update to 8.1 .and it can no longer find the recovery ,that caused the missing file error .make sure you backup all important file ,like music, pictures, documents. make sure you have the right iso file ,go to systems in control and see it will show win8.1 or maybe 8.1pro
the you can create a bootable win8.1 usb thumbdrive or dvd to reinstall win8.1 following another great tutorial by Brink

You can now download and create windows 8.1 media for use on your PC - the new windows 8.1 setup media reads both the windows 8 and windows 8.1 product keys..

This was a very needed change then What MS allowed before..
Now you can just install a clean version of windows 8.1
Instead of 8 to 8.1 upgrade..

You can download the official MS windows 8.1 media (link in sig below)
