    Sorting files (music files) in folders

    Hello,

    I having trouble figuring out how to sort the following files in a folder;

    What I want
    Example Album - Song Name
    Example Album - Song Name (Dance Remix 1)
    Example Album - Song Name (Dance Remix 2)

    What I get
    Example Album - Song Name (Dance Remix 1)
    Example Album - Song Name (Dance Remix 2)
    Example Album - Song Name

    I'm using Windows 8.1. It seems like Windows is treating the space between "Name and (Dance)" as a character. Is there anyone to sort the files the way I want?

    Thanks!

    that is how media player sorts the music in the music folder

    Otherwise the settings are via ITunes

    If I am not mistaken does not iTunes create a iTunes folder in the windows music folder

    Hi there
    download mp3tag (free) - then you can tag and sort every which way you want. Handles FLAC and other audio formats too.

    Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...)

    Cheers
