I have a Microsoft mobile mouse 4000. How can I get it to stop waking the computer from sleep mode. I just want to be able to have the keyboard wake it up. I went into device manager and unchecked "Allow this device to wake the computer.
Thanks

Check BIOS for a setting similar to that, it may be overriding windows power settings.

The movement of the mouse directly correlates with the waking of the computer.
So I'm confident that it is the mouse

Even so, finding the exact device name in one of the two first tutorials I posted will allow you to do the last tutorial I posted, which should disable it in command prompt...

Control Panel/Mouse/click Hardware tab
highlight 'MS mouse 4000' (in my case Logitech mouse) then 'Properties' box (lower R)

1 (Copy).jpg

Under 'General' tab click 'Change settings' (lower L)

2 (Copy).jpg

Click 'Power Management' tab (far R)
uncheck 'Allow this device to wake the computer'

3 (Copy).jpg

edit: add screens
