Help me out someone?
I have not read of others experiencing this.
I normally set Windows 7 as the default in a dual boot situation. When I first did this, I used EasyBcd, as I thought it would be more thorough. Since, after re-establishing images etc, I have treid through Msconfig and the Control panel start up options, to set Windows 7 as my default. In the last instance, I used Msconfig and was successful for a long time.
But, point of post, I inevitably find, after a while, that, when I boot by any of the mentioned methods, into windows 7 automatically, I get into a scan disk of all (three) of my hard disks, with a message on each that an error has been detected. Going back to Windows 8 as the default gets rid of this error.
Can anyone who has experienced this, tell me what is happening? What is the remedy, apart from using Windows 8 boot manager.
