Charms bar move from one monitor to the other

I don't know how she manages it, but each time my 3yr old plays on my dual monitor PC, she manages to move the charms bar so that it appears on the right side of the left monitor, instead of the right side of the right monitor!

Any ideas on how she is doing that? I find I have to restart to the computer to get it to revert, and there must be a simpler way!

    Thanks,
    Ackoman

I run three monitors. The charms bar will open on whatever monitor has focus when you use the keyboard shortcut. All you should have to do is move your cursor over to the other screen and click it to change focus to that screen. Moussing to the lower right corner of the screen you want it to open on should work too. You'll get different options depending on what has focus. If it's an open Metro app you'll get setup options for that App. If it's your desktop you'll get a different set of options etc.

She also managed to mark this thread as solved, which in my view it isn't! Back to unsolved for now......

I did mate, but it doesn't seem to work for me - the charm bar opens on the same monitor regardless of which one has the focus.

How are you opening it? Windows Logo Key + C or mouse to lower right corner? What is running on screen when you open it? Are you running any utilities that give you a Windows 7 like start menu etc?

Pressing windows C - regardless of which monitor has the focus the same one (the one on the right) opens the charm bar. Somehow my daughter manages to switch the charm bar from appearing on the right to the left one - however, whichever one it is, I only ever seem to be open it on one monitor and cannot switch between them in the way you described.

This is on the desktop, and I'm not running anything unusual.
