When pressing the WinKey + C, the Charms Bar will open on whatever monitor has the focus with an active window or application running.

That's a head scratcher. Your clicking on the other screen right, not just moving the cursor over? My charms bar can open on any one of my 3 monitors and the options shown vary depending on what is open on that screen. For example, if I have a Metro app open on that screen, the settings option in the charms bar is for the settings for that App. I wish I knew what's up with your system but I don't.

Ah, that's interesting. If I have just my desktop on one of my screens with no active program or App open, Pressing the logo key and C opens it on my other screen. I wasn't aware it worked like that. Nice to know, thanks for pointing that out.

I should also add that, in some instances, it will open on the last used environment if the other environment has not been made active since.

In any case, moussing to the lower right corner of the monitor you want to open it on, should open it on that monitor, for that instance. I'm beginning to see why the OP can't get it to "stick" to the monitor he wants it to open on. Normally I have something running on all my monitors. Apps on one, outlook on another and IE on my center main display.

Try this, open the Start Screen, or Internet explorer, or some program or App on the screen you want the Charms bar to open on, and open the Charms Bar. Then see if it sticks there.

By jingo, you've got it. If I open an application (launched from the Metro interface) from one monitor to the other, the charm bar moves with it.

    Thanks everyone for your help!

And yes, my daughter is smart but I can also think of many other words to describe her!!

Edit: It also works with an application launched from the desktop, i.e. not just the Metro interface.
