green lines and bad resolution after windows update.

hello
yesterday my computer have downloaded an automatic update when i was shutting him down. today i have turned on my computer and my resolution is absolutely horrible. i have vertical green lines all over my screen and the some very bad resolution with it. my current video card is GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 650 if it has anything to do with that.

how can i fix this and get back to my usual good resolution?

If it installed the update there should be a Restore Point to roll it back. Run the most recent Restore Point.

Edit: if not familiar how to get at System Restore in W8 see this Tutorial. You may want to try running at boot, Option 1 so that your video isn't damaged.
