screen won't shows anything. Just blank color

Hello. I'm a student and I'm having problem with my windows. The screen won't shows anything. Just blank color. I tried restarting the windows few times but it didn't work. It already on but the desktop won't show up.

if this is a laptop screen, hold it up to a light or use flashlight and look real good for you desktop.. (usually a faint boot logo is easier to see)

Laptop screens use a light bulb to Back Light the screen.. If you faintly see the desktop, the bulb is blown..

Does the rest of the bootup process work (the BIOS screen..it saying "Windows Is Starting"...etc).

After it boots up, when you press the Windows Key on your keyboard, does that cause anything to happen?

Can you see your mouse pointer when you move it around on the screen?

When you right click on the screen (if you have a pointer) do you get any menu options?

What happens when you press Windows Key + Pause/Break keys together?
