    the recovery will install the factory out of box software.. Just like you received it from them..

    Installing windows will require you to install drivers and programs - basically perform a clean install..

    well the laptop is back on and it seems that the system restore did nothing. any time i try to do something/ANYTHING administrator related, it just freezes for a moment then a c:\WINDOWS\system32\taskmgrexe. window opens and says "windows cannot accessthe specific path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access them". that includes trying anything that has to do with resetting, restoring,

    also right click start flag - disk management - post a pic..

    control panel > recovery > create recovery media

    you should be able to do that..

    or control panel > users > user name > change account type

    that you may not be able to do.

    nope it says recovery drive could not start

    right click start flag > command prompt admin

    type> net user administrator /active:yes

    if that does not work, boot from the windows setup media you created

    when you get to the install screen hit F10 to bring up an admin command prompt

    then type> net user administrator /active:yes

    reboot select administrator as the user and then create another admin user account - with your name

    you should also delete the old local user account you are now having issues with
