I don't know why all of a sudden it is doing this, but the disc icon shows up near my mouse and my PC makes a noise every 10 seconds or so as if there were a disc in my disc drive, where there is actually not one. This happened after I uninstalled and reinstalled a graphics driver.
I uninstalled it, rebooted my PC, and that's when it happened. Reinstalling the graphics driver didn't change it but I don't see how it would either.
