charms bar always opening when typing

Occasionally when I am playing games on my computer the charms bar will open up and i can't type anything until I restart my computer. Whenever i try to type it just opens up the charms bar. It is really annoying when i am playing competitive.

Is this on a laptop with a touchpad by chance?

If so, then you might be having the charms bar open from the edge swipes feature. If this is the case, then you can use an option in the tutorial below to disable touchpad edge swipes.

In addition, if you are using a mouse, check to see if any of the mouse buttons are set to open charms. You may be pressing it by mistake. If so, then you could set that button to perform another action or disable it.

Are you pressing the Windows + C keys while gaming by chance? That's the shortcut to open charms.
