How do I change the locations of folders on This PC?

I was trying to redirect one of the folders to a folder my D drive, but I accidentally directed it to my D drive itself. Now when I go into Properties>Location of the folder and try to revert, it says

"Failed to build the list of regular subdirectories under D:\System Volume Information
    Access is denied."

And when I try to direct it into the folder on the drive, it says

    "Can't redirect a parent into a child.
    The specified path is invalid."

Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Hello GrandHunterMan, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Do you mean your user folders?

If so, then OPTION TWO below may help to restore their default location.
