My mouse won't move when disk usage 100% can still click

My pointer won't move when disk usage 100% can still click

Literally everything else works including clicking. It only happens when it reaches 100% disk usage, I can click and still navigate around my pc without the Touchapd but it just won't move! It does recover after a short period of time though. I've updated all my drivers and the disk usage is understandable, I'm moving large files around. I've tried using a usb mouse as well and it didn't help. Oh, as I went to click submit i realized my mouse is frozen right now...but i can very clearly still type, the mouse just won't move

What about CPU usage, that probably shoots thru the roof too ?
