    Pin a program to taskbar that works like a SHORTCUT

    Hi, in Windows 8.1, I know how to pin a shortcut to taskbar, by just dragging it to the taskbar, and it's done.

    But some programs, like Googe Chrome, don't behavior like a shortcut pinned to taskbar, cause when I click them, they actually take control of the pinned icon and expand it. I don't want that.

    I want a Chrome icon in the left of the taskbar, and when I click it, another Chrome item gets opened in the taskbar.

    Right click on the desktop, choose New►Shortcut, in the first dialog type 'explorer' (without the quotes) then a space, then go to the Chrome .exe in ProgramFiles or ProgramFilesX86, Shift/right click on it and choose Copy as Path, then paste that in the rest of the dialog and click Next;
    Name it... whatever;
    then click Finnish.
    Now, right click on the new shortcut►Properties►Change Icon►backspace to clear the 'Look for icons in this file:' dialog box then re-paste the Chrome.exe path that should still be on the 'clipboard', click OK and if the proper icon is highlighted click OK again, click Apply and OK again.
    Pin that to the task bar and delete the desktop shortcut if you wish.
