Hey Mike, have you ever tried to actually watch these videos. They refuse to stream to my PC. I've tried for several days now, thinking that the server might be overloaded, but to no avail. This site is probably run with Silverlight, which is fully upgraded on my system.
BTW, I have a 10Mbps DSL line, so speed is not a problem.

That is REALLY weird John. I checked out each of those videos JUST this morning before I posted this thread, and they came smooth as butter for me. I have had problems before when I did such a thread, and was allowed to post the videos directly. BUT I have to get permission first, and YOU know that eightforums.com will first verify that they aren't working from the link before they give such permissions.

*edit* Just went there and can find no problem viewing them, I ask Brink to check into it, and see how we can resolve the problem.

Open a command prompt and run this command to see if your pc can communicate with the server well:

    ping res1.windows.microsoft.com

It should return an ip address of 70.37.129.167 with successful returns.

    ------

Install this driver if not already:
NVIDIA GeForce 301.24 Beta 64-bit download from Guru3D.com

Well, that was interesting... when I pinged that site, the IP address was 65.54.75.95 (?) and successful 4 times.

It's because of your location compared to mine. The server seems to be using Anycast. The successful part is what really counts though...so the ability for your machine to connect there is of no issue.

I got a different result as well, 213.199.148.169. Could it depend on your geographical/global location?

The videos at the link on the first post play just fine for me.

If someone can't view or play the videos, then they may need to install the latest version of Silverlight at the MS link below first.

    Microsoft Silverlight
