Ok so I have a bit of an issue that I would like resolved it seems that after installing this pile of tripe on 2 laptops and a desktop that after installing the correct driver's from the manufacturers website when I got to download updates through windows update it shows me that I have 46 updates and 6 optional updates.

Now when I go to check the updates the list is empty and I have to reboot the machine and recheck and this time it works WTF!

anybody else experience this?

Did you reboot after installing the MFG Drivers?'

when I got to download updates through windows update it shows me that I have 46 updates and 6 optional updates.

What happened at this point? Did you say to install the updates or did you reboot at this point?

All I see is that you had to reboot once. What exactly is the problem?

Where are you checking the list of Updates? There's two, one shows a bit different from the other. I had other info but doubts about how it would be received.

After the December updates my machine had a hiccup with the updates.

I installed them all & rebooted & got the message that updates were available.
I went to Windows Update & saw 3.
I clicked on Check for updates & when it was done the 3 updates were no longer available.

I figure it was just a glitch.
I don't worry about it.
