F12 - Something is triggering the key

Hey guys, I joined this forum only to post this question, it is really bugging me and it has for a while, I cant seem to figure this out...

I have an Ultrabook that I got for my birthday, Dell XPS 13 which I mostly use when I travel or don't feel like using the other computers for whatever reason.

I must admit that it took me a while to get used to Win8, I hated it so much I installed Ubuntu on dual boot. After a couple of months I decided I should 'learn' Windows 8 so I started playing with it but, something is triggering the F12 key.

It happens on IE, Firefox, Office, Open Office, Libre Office... I cant seem to figure it out, BUT it only happens when I am using Windows, never on Linux.

If I am not mistaken, I had fixed that same issue on a different computer, but I cant remember what I did. I already try changing the keyboard settings but it does not help.

Any help would be appreciated

Well, If I am using an internet browser, it opens up the Developer Console. Yes, I can close it... but it opens back up in a few seconds, even when I am not touching the keyboard

If I am using an Office product, it keeps adding tabs to the documents

Odd. :(

Maybe running these cmds as administrator will help---{in the order given}---

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
sfc /scannow
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
sfc /scannow

Then reboot.
It's worth a try. :)
