How to remove boot menu entry in Boot Manager

    Hello guys,
I have dual booting Windows with Ubuntu, when I made something wrong to both of them, I had to reinstall both of them but then there are 2 Ubuntu boot option left in Boot Manager, the one with capitalized word is actually not working (itís boot into Windows instead of Grub). So my question, how can I remove the 3rd list/the broken Boot Option from the menu?
    Thanks In advance!

search BCDedit you can use it to remove the entry from the bcd store.. If you type bcdedit in the command prompt (admin) you will see the bcd store you would have to tell it to select an entry and remove it. since this depends on your machines entries, I can not better explain it's use. so you are better off understanding the commands and process by searching for it usage

    But I do Have this

You can also download: Visual BCD Editor - Windows 8|7|Vista instead of using command line bcdedit. If you make one mistake, you might not be able to boot.

From visual BCD editor. Make a backup copy of the BCD first before doing anything.

Hi Brink, I followed some instruction in that site but when I type bcdedit what I see is just one Windows Boot Loader (current) in there (nothing related to ubuntu I guess), isn't that my Windows 8.1 boot loader right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi topgundcp, I downloaded Visual BCD Editor and run the program, there I found 2 ubuntu in Loaders. Shall I remove the broken one (the one with capitalized U)?

I could be wrong, but that first screenshot looks like a BIOS screen, not the Windows OS selection screen. If that's the case, you would have to remove it in the BIOS settings. (or, maybe UEFI, since I don't have that, I don't know what the screens look like).

Yes, it is a BIOS Screen, but how do I remove the boot entry through BIOS? I don't see any setting to remove the entry in my BIOS anyway.

Yes, You can remove the capital entry of UBUNTU. This will in turn remove the entry in the BIOS.
