I've had my laptop for about a month now(It is an ASUS I don't remember the exact model, but it has a 745 Nvidia GEFORCE Graphics Card) and everything has been working fine until a few days ago I noticed my screen won't change my brightness no matter what I try. I've used the fn hotkeys, Power Center, and even Power Management but the brightness won't change! Please if someone know how to fix this I would be very grateful.

go into control panel - power options - advanced settings - turn off adaptive brightness

see if that works for you

Thank you for the suggestion, but the screen still won't change brightness. The bar that allows me to change the brightness will move, but the brightness itself will now change.

Try this first. Uninstall display adapters in Device Manager, then reboot and let them re-install. Hopefully will be fixed. If not, couple other things to try.

is the display bright or dim??

Dim > laptop screens have a backlighting bulb to light the display, they are fluorescent bulbs and they do go bad - Dim is the complaint
