Can Windows 7 OS be installed on a PC that came with W8

Can i buy and install windows 7 onto my pc which came with windows 8? Thanks

It may be possible depending on the computer but the question is, Are there Windows 7 drivers available!!

Well, the PC is not booting up to windows 8. There is a problem with it. I can purchase windows 7 disks cheaper so I thought If I could install it on the PC why not try. Makes Sense? Thanks

If Windows 8 is not booting, can you perform a Factory Restore through the recovery partition or use Recovery Disks hopefully you created when you got the computer.

silly me- i did not create disks after i got the computer so when i turm it on it say preparing recovery and just stays there, goes nowhere. no windows comes up. it is just dead.

I called the manuf. and they could not help bring the recover partiion up wither. They said send it in for a fix.

when and if you get it straightened out with win8, update it to win8.1 right away ,its a free update from the Microsoft store
