    Help with Windows Live Writer

I had to buy a new computer with Win 8.1. I was using Windows Live Writer on my old Win 7 one. Today I tried to download Windows Live Writer on this new computer & it tells me I already have a more current version on this one. I sure can't find it & probably don't know where to look. I'm a little frustrated because I really haven't figured out Win 8 yet. If anyone can help, I be sooo happy.

    Hi there, welcome to WindowsEightForums.

Click the icon in the bottom left corner, then click on the circle with a down arrow on the next screen you should find it there.

If I understand, it was pre-installed?

When I try to install it from an online download, it tells me there is a more current version already installed & won't install

Check Control Panel/Programs and Features for 'Windows Essentials'.

It shows it there, but if I do a search, it does not come up. I've searched the apps & the overall search everything. I'm beginning to think I should just delete it in programs & start over
