desktop icons have all shifted to the right side!!

All of the desktop icons have shifted to the right side of the screen.
If I recall this happened once before but I cannot recall how I corrected it.
Something tells me it could have been a key sequence with the Windows key although I have tried every possible sequence that I can think of. Anyone have any thoughts?
