Dragging for Windows maximise

Hi Guys,

I've been working with Windows 8/8.1 for a while now and windows continually don't seem to maximise correctly sometimes when I drag the window to the top of the screen. I have had this occur with folders and applications alike.

I've searched around and can't seem to find threads about this issue, despite a friend of mine having the same issue soemtimes. I generally winkey+up to maxise the window correctly once this occurs.

Any ideas?

Ryan.

  1. Go to Control Panel->Ease of Access->Make the mouse easier to use option
  2. Under Make it easier to manage Windows. Make sure everything is unchecked.
  3. Sign off and sign back in.

Another option is to double click on the title bar, this also maximize it.

Sad times. Already have all the mouse settings in Ease of Access unchecked :(

Coming from windows 7 I started pulling my windows to the top naturally and it has become a hard habbit to break. Is this is a known bug?
