Unexpected Shutdowns

I don't know if someone in the house is shutting the computer down, or if it's shutting itself down. But, this makes twice that I have found it shut down after I turn it on. It happened last night, and this morning. The computer seems to be working fine. Help please!!

hi,how could we offer help .if you don't even know if someone is shutting it off on you ??

So I will add ,it could be a dozen different things causing it .

Well, I don't know. It didn't do it after I mentioned it to the people in my household. I did put a sign on it that said not to shut it down manually. I gave them instructions on how to shut it down. You don't manually or force shut down a computer that is operating normally.

Well, it's not a disaster either, modern windows are pretty resilient to that kind of shutdown. I never had a problem after unexpected shutdown since XP.
