    HELP!!! can't refresh pc from toshiba recovery image


    Hi I have a Toshiba L875-12v
    Serial Number ZC317533R
    I discovered that the windows reagentc was disabled then I enabled it then when I clicked refresh your computer without affecting your files it came out with there was a problem refreshing your pc

    please help I want to go back to windows 8

    win8.1.1 enterprise


    if you use the Toshiba recovery image it will put your laptop back to factory setup ,the way it was when you first bought it .you will loose all your files .




    if your laptop came with win8 and you updated to win8.1 then you have an issue ,that's why you get the message you get.
    to the best of my knowledge you cant get back to win8 from 8.1 using this feature ,you will need to back up your personal files ,and use the Toshiba recover to get back to win8 .

    You could also just do a clean install of Windows 8.1, see here: Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 ISO - Download or Create

    The updated Option One shows you how to use a Microsoft provided tool (mediacreationtool.exe) to download any version of 8.1 for either 32 or 64 bit, regardless of what computer (bit wise) you are running from.

    The tool must be run from a Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 computer.

    If you go this route, make sure you backup anything you don't want to lose before doing so.
