Hello all, I am having problems booting my computer ever since I manually removed a DVD from the drive. It boots if I turn off the comp and then insert DVD but even them it takes like 10 min to boot. DVD was just a movie no software or os. Not sure how to return system boot to it's original state. Any help would be appreciated.

In the BIOS should be "First boot device" or something in that style, set to HDD.

hey count thanx for the reply- I thought about changing boot sequence but would rather have optical start option for problems. Curious why my system seems to have this dvd imprinted after manually removing it.

That's an old problem with CD/DVD being left as first boot device. Check your computer manual, there should be an option by pressing some function key to choose temporary BOOT device. If you choose HDD as boot device it may not try DVD first and boot straight to HDD.
