Show extension for .psd file type

My PC has "Hide extensions for known file types" checked to keep most types hidden. Using FileTypesMan, I have set .psd files to always have the extension shown. This only works for one user account! For all other users, the type remains hidden unless I uncheck "Hide extensions..." to show all types. The setting can be changed for other file types for the other users, the only one I am having trouble with is .psd. The same problem happens when a new user is created. Manually adding the AlwaysShowExt string in the registry gives the same result.

I hope someone can help with this annoying problem.
