Hi everyone!
So I just took the plunge and upgraded to 8.1 from Win 7. I'm having trouble moving, copying, and deleting files. I'm an administrator, I have full permissions, but when I try to do anything I get the following File Access Denied message:
You require permission from (My Username) to make changes to this file.
Now my new 8.1 username is the same as my old Win 7 username, but I'm guessing it is referring to my old username in that message since I'm logged into my new one, even though the old one no longer exists. Does the file now belong to a phantom user? How do I fix this? Frustrating.
Thank you for your time!
