Windows 8.1 loaded with updates, screen freezes

New self build gaming PC, I have loaded Windows 8.1 with updates and ran computer, ok overnight. Loaded Avast, Garry's Mod, and a Netgear Wifi Dongle with drivers.

In the morning worked ok for 10 mins then screen flickered and went a blank fuzzy yellow

Have tried reloading Windows, but screen keeps freezing with yellow colour and sometimes large black and white squares, sometimes plain white. Yellow is my desktop theme btw.

Anything else please ask

Maybe time to restore to factory specs & start from scratch. :sick:
