I've been having an issue on my W8.1 Lenovo T540P regarding screen borders. No matter what resolution I use, the display borders don't react correctly to mouse clicks. Clicking RMB doesn't invoke menu, clicking LMB changes focus from current window to something else. It looks like the very last pixels - top, bottom, left and right; except for bottom-left where the power user menu is which seems to work correctly. This is especially annoying when I'm trying to launch anything in full screen mode, because the application gets minimized whenever mouse hits any border and the button is clicked.
I noticed that if I am in the metro menu, the RMB works correctly, meaning that it brings the metro's menu as usual... That's why I think it might be metro's fault, but I haven't found a solution yet. I tried updating drivers, removing any software which might cause this problem but to no avail. Does anyone have any idea?
