For the last few days, the battery of my laptop was dying more quickly. Using many battery analysis tools I checked the wear level of battery and found out that battery is in good condition. After that I noticed that a process is consuming both CPU and battery. Rundll32 is consuming about 20% of the CPU continuously reducing my backup time. The command line interface shows that devstats.dll in SysWOW64 is running. When I checked inside the SysWOW64 folder an unsigned dll devstats.dll is present in the folder. If I am trying to rename/delete that file, windows is continuously throwing error saying dll module not found.
I also tried scanning system with Malwarebytes, some Registry Cleaner tools etc. But the problem still persists. PLease give advise in solving the problem
