Laptop screen not showing

I've been using 2 screens for years now, my regular laptop screen and my samsung TV.
Earlier today I updated my windows 8 to 8.1, everything seems fine, except my laptop screen is black. I took print screens and it shows my wallpaper when I paste it on paint, but the screen is black. All my drivers are up do date. I've been trying to resolve this issue by looking at forums and youtube videos but absolutely nothing seems to help

If anybody knows how to resolve this, please help!

Using HDMI for the TV? Could be something with the graphics driver. Would help to know make/model of laptop.
Nothing happens when using the function key for screen switching or key combination?

Yes i'm using HDMI for the TV. The model is NP350V5C-S04PT ( Samsung laptop)
I'm not sure if I know about the fucntion key or key combination, is that windows button + P ?

Yes, that is the key combo, many laptops also have a function key, mine is Fn+F6. It will blank my screen.

Yes i've tried it all, i tried extending and duplicating screens but nothing changes

You did install latest graphics drivers?

Yes I did, both AMD Radeon and Intel. What I don't understand is that when I restart my computer and the Samsung icon comes up it shows on both screens, but when the actual windows comes up it's just black again

I would uninstall both adapters in Device Manager then reboot. You can see your desktop on the TV right? Unplug the HDMI before rebooting.
